Performance Presets
Open Shine > Performance > Performance Presets.
| Preset | Changes |
|---|---|
| Ultra | Shine Default workload with every visual choice preserved. |
| High | Very small workload cuts with the same effects and cloud appearance. |
| Medium | Balanced caps, distances, and sampling without disabling effects. |
| Low | Stronger workload limits while preserving Shine's visual identity. |
| Max Performance | Lowest practical caps and ranges without turning effects off. |
Performance presets change selected high-impact settings. They are separate from visual presets.
Custom performance presets are loaded from:

Open Shine > Performance > Shine FPS Diagnostics or press F8 while in a world.
Recordings capture average FPS, 1% low FPS, P95 frame time, worst frame time, timed Shine sections, particle counts, and scene context.
Reports are saved as a readable text file and a detailed JSON file under:

config/shine/diagnostics/The text file contains a readable summary. The JSON file adds frame samples, enabled effects, particle activity, and a configuration snapshot. Copy Summary copies the short report; Open Reports Folder opens the saved files.
