Shine Packs
Shine Packs are Minecraft resource packs that customize Shine's birds and interactive flowers.
Install a Pack
- Put the pack folder or zip in Minecraft's
resourcepacksfolder. - Enable it from Minecraft's Resource Packs screen.
- Open
Shine > Custom > Shine Packsto confirm that Shine detected it.
The Shine Packs screen shows each pack's bird and flower counts. Open Resource Pack Folder opens the installation folder, and Reload Packs reloads enabled resource packs after their files change.
Pack Content
With a Shine Pack, you can:
- Add bird species and interactive flower variants.
- Replace or disable built-in definitions.
- Limit birds and flowers by biome, biome tag, dimension, weather, or time of day.
- Limit flowers by their support block or block tag.
Shine's built-in birds and flowers remain available unless a pack explicitly replaces or disables their definitions.
Load Problems
Definition errors appear beside the detected packs. A broken bird or flower definition is disabled without preventing other valid content from loading.
Shine Packs are different from the .shinepack archives imported by the Custom Particles editor. See Shine Pack Authoring for the resource-pack layout and JSON formats.
